Shipping & Returns

We want you to love your vintage or pre-owned ring, but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. Here’s how returns and shipping are handled:

Shipping

United Kingdom

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail with tracking and insurance included for your peace of mind. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days. Rings requiring resizing or other custom work may take additional time.

Shipping within the UK is free, with Royal Mail Tracked & Insured delivery (1–3 business days).

International

If you would like to place an order from outside the UK, please get in touch at contact@jemandjules.co.uk and we will look at getting a shipping quote.

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and how returns and refunds work.

1. Your Right to Return

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

2. Conditions of Return

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery
  • The item must be returned within 14 days of notification
  • The item must be in the same condition as received
  • The item must not be worn, altered, resized, or damaged
  • Original packaging should be included where possible

Because our jewellery is second-hand and vintage, existing signs of wear or minor blemishes are not considered faults.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Any ring that has been resized at the customer’s request
  • Items that have been altered or repaired after purchase
  • Items damaged after delivery

This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty or significantly not as described prior to resizing.

4. How to Request a Return

To request a return, please email contact@jemandjules.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your item and include:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for return

We will provide return instructions.

5. Return Postage

  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or misdescribed.
  • We recommend using a tracked and insured service.
  • We are not responsible for items lost in transit.

6. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

7. Faulty or Misdescribed Items

If your item is faulty or significantly not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

This does not include expected vintage wear or characteristics clearly shown or described in the product listing.
